I stayed at the Jin Jang Hotel, but this was in 1998. A lot of the big names were in the process of building up at the time...as was the Pudong!!

At the time tho, I recall "floor stewards" who were really helpful, but could not help wondering if they were also keeping tabs on us, LOL! Maybe things have loosened up a bit...

Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry, but by demonstrating that all peoples cry, laugh, eat, worry, and die, it can introduce the idea that if we try and understand each other, we may even become friends ~~M. Angelou~~
