For those of you cruising Tahiti, I have just read there has been some sightings of the annual return/migration of the humpback whales. This occurs off of Moorea. So you may want to try your luck at whale watching with Dr. Poole's excursion in Moorea. Wear your bathing suits and take your snorkel gear with you. Also found a post with maps of various hotels for those of you with pre-post cruise trips in case you want to request a specific room.
