Mariner Penthouse C - 08/11/21 07:12 PM

Do some of the Penthouse C on Mariner have a pole and some do not? Do folks have their favorite or disfavorite Penthouse C on Mariner?

thanks,

Marc

Marc, 914 and 915 are our favorite Penthouse C suites on Mariner. They are quiet, shower suites without a pole. You also have more privacy on your balcony since the balcony on the Mariner suite next door is in the middle of the suite and not adjacent to your balcony.

834 is probably our least favorite Penthouse C suite. It has a pole, is across the hallway from a noisy air conditioning room, and gets some noise when the tenders are being used or when crew members are doing maintenance on the tenders.

Dave, thanks! I have let Ngaire know to ask for 914 or 915. Since this is for Amazon side of ship doesn't matter as you come back the way you went.

Marc - This must be the cruise you are looking at?
Miami to Miami - Dec 12 2023, 25 nights?
I like it, except I wish it was from Rio instead of Miami. But, we might consider tagging along!

Kim, we are choosing it specifically because it doesn't have any South American ports except the Amazon. We have wanted to do Amazon but are "done" with South American ports, especially Brazilian ports. This cruise is so perfect for us that we are adding it even though we are also booking a bucket list Tokyo - Tokyo - Vancouver cruise just a few months later.

Marc, I thought you said a few years ago that you were "done" with South America. So, that itinerary is indeed perfect for you! smiles
We are still thinking about it. We have to get our heads around not being with family at Christmas. I think we just go visit them at Thanksgiving!
