Ignore any negative comments about the Splendor you may read on Cruise Critical. Everything is great on board and we'll save some of the wine for y'all when you board in Rome. Felice, Gudrun and Anatoli are here, but some of the others may be changing.

OH MY!! It is time to think about packing!  Going to be a little tough deciding. See it is going to be in the 50's, 60's and possible rain showers from Rome to Barcelona part. Then by the time we get to The Canary Islands possible 80's, and probably that way all the way to the Caribbean, and Miami. Look forward to our day trip out of Rome on the 13th. Drive to Billings the 9th for our 1st leg of 2 on the 10th arriving FCO the 11th at 7:00 pm. See you on board   !

Jim,
Don't forget that it's almost winter in Europe. It's been unusually warm for this time of year. Turkey & Greece have been in the low 70s this year but ordinarily would be in the low 60s for highs and it's the rainy season. It's a pain to have to pack for both warm and cold weather.

Yes it is hard to pack, but we just finished about an hour ago. Normally that is early for us. Sure hope others don't mind seeing the same things a few times.

For those of you embarking tomorrow , 11-13, if you made specialty restaurant reservations on line, check the paperwork in your suite to make sure the reservation list for the Rome to Barcelona segment is there. Splendor has had computer problems and none of our reservations were in their system. You can check with the reservation desk on deck 5 to get them reinstated.
