Plans are developing on this event.
We are working on our pre-cruise plans and there will be a special dinner the night of April 9, before embarkation on April 10. Once all the plans are confirmed we will be sending out an email to everyone with all the details, on accommodation choices, the dinner and boarding on April 10. Clay is attending the Signatures Owners Meeting now but within a few weeks of his return we should get all the arrangements confirmed.
Once onboard we will have special function as we did on the other KLT events in the past.

How does it work if you have the free hotel night? Will Regent provide transportation to the event? We have always done our own pre hotel so just wondering. Looking forward to the festivities.

We are staying at the KIMBERLY EAST hotel in New York,
Just two blocks 5 minute walk between the Lotte Palace RSSC hotel and the Kimberly Hotel KLT hotel. Or a taxi could be called from the Lotte Palace hotel if someone cannot walk that far.

5:30 PM Cocktails | 6:00 PM Four-Course Dinner
Empire Steakhouse in The Kimberly Hotel
• Appetizers served family style
• Salad - 2 choices
• Main Course - 9 choices and family style sides including steaks, rack of lamb, chicken, seafood, & pastas
• Dessert Platters at each table
HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS - APRIL 9, 2024
These two hotels are 2 blocks apart, about a 5-minute walk.
Lotte Palace Hotel: 455 Madison Ave, NY
If you are booked in a Concierge Suite or above, this is your pre-cruise hotel included with your Regent cruise.
The Kimberly Hotel: 145 East 50th St, NY
Hotel accommodation is at each person's expense. Prices currently start at $399 for a 320 sq.ft. room and $459 for a 600 sq.ft. room. There is a discount for guests 65+.
Pricing changes on specific dates, probably due to capacity - so do not delay in making your reservation.
EMBARKATION DAY - APRIL 10, 2024
• Early boarding will be advised closer to sailing. Anticipate 10:30 or 11:00 AM
• Transfer information will be advised at a later date once the boarding time is confirmed.
• Private Lunch in Compass Rose at 12:00 PM (noon)

Looks Like another outstanding KLT extravaganza. We decided to spend four days in New York so I switched our hotel to the Kimberly from the Lotte Palace. When you are booking on the website for the Kimberly, there is a link to access private rates. All you have to do is sign up for their free website membership, and the private rate will appear.
The senior rate appears to be a 10% discount while the private rate amounts to an 11% discount. For those 65 or over, the private rate only saves a few dollars. However, anyone under 65 will get more significant savings by using the private rate.

so true Helen. Working on this event we figured that out!
Clay just got back from Hawaii and he said is was ridiculous there as well. They even went to a local grocery shop as they thought it was just the hotel with high prices. But the local shop was high as well.
Happy with my Texas pricing that has only gone up slightly.

Sorry I have been absent from posting but it has been a big undertaking to have this event. Seeing light now at the end of the tunnel. Clay, Brooke, Ken and I are going in two days early to be sure all the arrangements for the welcome dinner at the Kimberley Hotel will be well organized. We will be providing bus transfer to the ship for those staying at the Kimberley and we will be having a welcome lunch in Compass Rose after embarkation.
We are getting close to being ready. Taylor has been working non stop with all the details and we are bringing gift bags for everyone. FOUR 34" SUITCASES are FULL. Shipping these suitcases directly to the ship, they will be picked up on Friday.. A big push here to day Taylor has got a lot of the administrative staff helpiing with the final printing and packaging of all the "stuff"..
We do have CHEF JEFFREY KOLLINGER onboard a well known chef who will do cooking demonstrations and cooking a special lunch for us being served in the Compass Rose on a sea day. Should be wonderful. He will be active in the KLT programs onboard. Super nice guy located in Dallas and he sent the KLT staff a wonderful lunch which we all enjoyed.
121 guests on the April 10 sailing and 60 on the April 24 sailing. Dining with people every night and every lunch and looking forward to connecting with those we know and meeting new people as well.
Been a lot of work and now we are almost finished and can just look forward to a wonderful cruise with lots of fun with all the KLT guests.

June and I are so looking forward to this cruise. Seeing old friends and making new ones is part of the cruise and KLT benefits and fun.
June and I will be going all the way to Rome so will have many opportunities to meet everyone.
