Jim so many do not post they are on a cruise. Even guests that come on a lot of KLT cruises. We have 24 people on the SPL231113 cruise, a lot of them regulars only ONE couple I do not know. So lots of people you will know or get to to know pretty quickly.

I agree Jim! I love knowing who is cruising with me. Sadly we are not on this one though. But that said, Jerry and I have never not loved everyone we have ever met on a Ngaire trip and many are now life long friends.

FYI In case you might be interested.
In 2011 we were in Rome and used a guide that Kathy St. Vincent had suggested. She was fantastic and I have actually recommended her to 4 people who all used her and agree.
Jan & I are considering flying into Rome arriving on the 11th, do a 1/2 day tour outside the city the 12th, and then have her take us to the ship with maybe a short tour along the way.
We will probably book a room at the Hilton Garden Inn close to the airport.
If anyone would be interested in joining us, let me know. Currently it is just in the planning stage.

Marc, When the short cruise from Trieste was announced we had already booked Athens to Barcelona with some ports new to us. We'll spend time in Barca and join you there.

OK. I need some help.
When we disembark the cruise in Miami, Jan and I decided to do a road trip. Going to do highway A!A from Miami to Charleston.
So we have already made rental car arrangements, but don't understand how it works when we get off the ship.
Says there is a " free", rental car shuttle that goes around every half hour picking people up. It takes you to 99 Southeast 2nd Street.
Then what?
Is that where the rental cars are located? Or do they have to take you somewhere else?
Just hoping someone who reads this can give me some guidance.

Jim, I just checked Google maps and Google Earth for 99 SE 2nd Street. They show that there are Budget and Avis rental offices at that location.
