I just booked a shore excursion for this cruise?!?! Even though NCLH has announced that this cruise has been cancelled no one bothered to tell Regent so they could update their website.
Or, maybe, NCLH thought this cruise was cancelled but Regent still wants to sail?!?!?!

Every Regent cruise for the month of November shows "waitlisted". I interpret this as all November cruises will be cancelled. Is this correct ?? I know all our cancelled cruises showed "waitlisted" but Regent was really saying it was to be cancelled. It would make life easier if they just said "cancelled" and skipped the misleading "waitlisted".

Marcie, every cruise in December is also waitlisted. Necessary step to keep people from booking cruises just to make the 25% FCC or to just return money. NCLH has announced that all cruises through November are cancelled. NCL took additional step to cancel some cruises through March. Oceania just cancelled November cruises. Still no update from Regent.
BTW NCL no longer offers FCC; just full cash refund and 10% coupon. Oceania still doing FCC. No idea what Regent will do.
Edited to add: Regent cancelled; offer of 125% FCC still there although I think the restrictions have been slightly modified.

Splendor in December? Marc, are you booked on the December 7 sailing? What do you think? Same deal? Eventually, there is going to Have to be a first cruise. I would have thought it would have been one of these. I suppose that since the Splendor is scheduled to be sailing out of Miami all winter they don’t see a rush. Too bad.

Jim, I had a single booking for both 28 Nov and 7 Dec cruise so my cruise has been cancelled. I know some of you had two different booking numbers so who knows; I am sure Ngaire is on top of this.
My next cruise up for cancellation is the 24 April Crystal river cruise which I am still confident will sail (or motor as it is a river boat).

Ours is (was?) a single booking too. So I guess we are in the same boat (or not). We had a friend who was supposed to join us for the 7h so I’ll need to talk to the KLT folks to see how we are going to handle that.
The next Regent Cruise for us is the Grand Asia on Explorer and I’m not feeling good about that one. Sigh.....

THis morning we were advised that all November sailings were cancelled. But they did NOT cancel December.
They are offering the usual two scenarios: Full Refund or 100% and 25% FCC
.I think they are the cruise lines are trying to resume sailing. This is NOT official just what I “THINK” might be happening. But trust me I am often wrong! • Mid Sept is when we anticipated cancellations for November & December • That announcement did not happen – I think due to the upcoming CDC meeting • Then that CDC meeting limited the no sail ban until October 31st • Friday Oct, 2 a meeting with Covid Task Force, CDC, White House officials and top cruise officials was supposed to take place • With the President being infected by Covid that Friday meeting was cancelled. Who knows when it will happen now. • It is so close to November I do not think they cannot wait any longer so they went ahead and cancelled November. • But they did NOT cancel December so that is one of the reasons why I believe they are trying to start sailing • Other lines are cancelling December but NOT OUT OF Miami or Fort Lauderdale • Nothing official here just my thoughts.
Meanwhile, if you are booked on a back to back we are not sure exactly how that will be handled and trying to get answers to that question now. As soon as we know we will reach out to those booked on the back to back and let you know the options available.

I know several of us were on both the 11/28 cruise and the 12/7 cruise on Splendor. Is anyone still planning to do the 12/7 cruise (assuming it isn't cancelled)?
