There's going to be more baby bald eagles. A 2nd egg was laid on the eagle's nest in Big Bear, CA (about a hour from where we live). Approximate birth is April 10th. The parents will take turns sitting on the eggs. This is the webcam (with sound) : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5b2dUgK6VV4#action=share

We've finally had some warmer weather so the "parents to be" take turns on the nest and NO shivering the past couple of days. Yea !

Love the webcam Marcie. Remember when we used to follow the African webcam at Vuyatela. That caused me to go check out the camp. That was lots of fun.

Happy to report that it's warmed up some so hopefully they won't have more snow (big Maybe!) .I'm finally able to distinguish the "Daddy" from the "Mom" to tell who is sitting on the eggs.

The first egg is predicted to hatch on 4/12/19 (my sister's birthday) and the 2nd egg is predicted to hatch on 4/14/19. Thank goodness the weather had greatly improved and now it's warmer, no more freezing temps or rain. Fingers crossed.

Still checking these guys every day. The eaglets are getting really big--up and around and flapping their wings. Love it!
