We are on Singapore SFO to Sydney. First time flying Singapore business class. Love that Chase Sapphire Reserve credit that lets us use airlines other than One World.

Hope you enjoy your Singapore Air flights, Ngaire. We really liked our past flights. If you haven’t done so already, be sure to go to the Manage My Booking section of the website and checkout Book the Cook under meals. It gives you a much wider choice of main courses than the regular inflight menu.
See you soon.
Dave

Arrived yesterday (Saturday) on Air NZ. Sydney weather is beautiful - around 80 degrees F. On Friday, right next to the hotel in the Rocks is a foodie fair. Saturday there is the Rocks Market which would be fun to visit before catching the bus to the ship. See y'all at the Gala dinner.

Welcome to Sydney y'all!! So glad we have some decent weather today - it makes such a difference. The Sunday markets at The Rocks are worth a visit if you have the time. I somehow missed this thread and would love to know who is here with you - I can manage to find out where you're off to but sure wish I could join you. Lee

Dave we did that and we were amazed at all the options. Lamb chops, Halibut, Lobster, crab cakes, so many choices i could not quite believe it! Had a hard time making up my mind. Really looking forward to this flight. A haul though - DfW to SFO overnight. SFO to Singapore 17 hours with 3 hour layover then 8 hours to Sydney. Longer route than DFW to Sydney non stop but no way we could get that with miles. Would have been nice!

We get in around 7.30 pm so off to the hotel and a quiet night - maybe order a light meal room service - actually that sounds like something fun to me!!
