Ngaire, no Grand Pacific Asia? A year without a Mariner cruise seems strange.

I put up the rate tables you can access them from the front page of the web. Not too pretty but the best I can do from home. www.bkrssc.com Also put them on the first post on this thread. Nothing on the Mariner this year Marc the timing just did not work.

Oh, there are so many of Ngaire's 2008 group cruises that I would LOVE to take! So I have signed up for several of them! Since I plan to be retired by 2008, it may be my "WC" year, just taken a bit differently than Marcie and Tom do it! Ngaire, you have chosen a great bunch of cruises that appeal to everyone! First time cruisers (either med cruise or Baltics) and repeaters with all the more "exotic" itineraries! You did welll!

After CAMEL, are you going to rent temporary office space in Athens and work from there instead of flying home? :D
I am sure that the Grand Bretagne or Athens Hilton would also be suitable accomodations for the short period of three weeks in between CAMEL and the B2B Med. ;)

Marc, I am going to be "retired" by this time if I do all these things, no office needed! Thought crossed my mind that this might be my time to explore Scotland while Joanna is living in England, as she is on neither of these cruises! But really, she could not put up with me for three weeks, and the Sistah's and Suzanne are gone, so no hope for that Scotland train at this time. I think I will have to go home and weed the garden and do laundry....and get some more miles.

Any chance the Roar II pin will have a "Cheetah" on it? Maybe the only time we see a Cheetah.
I see Panda and Ice everyday on the icebox, it would be nice to have a Cheetah in the mix...

Or .. we could keep the black and white critter theme going with an orca (in honor of Hermanus whale watching) .. could be a winner, Grant. You never know

Actually Arlene (of Gil and Arlene) designed a pin for ROAR and we are using that. It is a very HAPPY Lion. We ordered it yesterday and they always come back a little different than we expect but as soon as I get it back I will post the picture of the pin.
Good chance of seeing Cheetah at Madikwe Grant. First visit to Madikwe there were Cheetah everywhere. We had a sighting every day. Sometimes twice in a day.
This is one of the reasons for the visit to Madikwe Hills. Second time we missed seeing a cheetah by a few minutes. Tried to track him but he went into thick bush. Also the best chance of seeing wild dog. We also saw larger herds of animals here.
The game overall is better in the Sabi Sands, and Timbavati areas mainly because of the good leopard. However, the odds of seeing Cheetah there is very very slim.
So we are trying to "see it all".

Great! I look forward to seeing Arlene's design.
So .. we keep traveling until we collect the orca pinfor another time. Sounds like a plan to me.
Cheers, Anne
