I have found so many interesting websites from other peoples recommendations that I thought we should start a list of all our favorites. If you have a favorite cruise related site, add it here! Here are my choices: Kroooz Cams probably my favorite. For those of you who have never visited the site before, it's the best site for viewing webcams from various cruise lines ships. The site has a great design and it's so very easy to use. Seat Guru "Your enlightened guide to airline seating" is their claim to fame and this site is just essential when choosing a seat for your flight. Cruise Stateroom This site is fantastic for comparing different catagory cabins to see which configuration is best for you. You can even compare different ships and cruise lines. The comparisons are in 3D :) 360° virtual ship tours This site has a virtual tour of each Radisson ship along with movie tours of the ship and photos. Bart de Boer\'s Passenger ship parade In my opinion, this site is just the best for ship reviews. Mr. de Boer's photos are fantastic as are his reviews.

Wow! Thanks for all these neat bookmarks...I bought a new computer ( A Sony of my owney...VAIO, it's bootiful) and I have to transfer all my cruise stuff from the old one so this helped.

Here are a few good ones to add: This one shows what ships are where & when.. http://www.cruisecal.com/dnn/ and this one has info on all the worldwide ports http://www.cybercruises.com/cruiseports.htm and p.s at this last one if you hit links on their page you will go to the biggest darn list of cruise sites ..all on one page

Food Photography is actually a genre of it's own. It looks like the photos were taken by the same person. What a job to fly on every airline to photograph the food.

I just found this great map making site. You can enter your hotel address and it will show you where it is on the map. When you print out the map, the whole city area is included. mappy.com

THank You for the great sites. One that I like a lot when planning a trip to Europe is the Fodors message board . It's a pretty active board and chances are that any question you have will be answerd quickly. It also has an easy to use search function and it goes back years!

Maria, you are precisely right,I have book marked Fodors long ago. When I was doing ROAR, it has best info on Africa on the web..now am using it for Asia..for out next cruise..thx..r/wes

www.cruisereviews.com has some decent ship reviews, and www.portreviews.com has some nice, albeit rather brief, info about many ports all over the world.

I really like Seat Guru....for long flights nice to know the inside scoop and on first class/bus really nice to know which seats - when I was booking LAX to Sydney I had Seat Guru on my computer, after studying it and planning to request seats, and agent said "you seem to know all the good seats" - Joanna

I just found this site yesterday when I was looking for one way air to South Carolina for Saturday. US air wanted $500 a person because it was one way and so close to the flight date but at Independence air, purchasing one way segments is not frowned upon. I got the tickets for $120pp. There are great fares for us east coasters, one way to Orlando from Pittsburgh during the week is $69 plus taxes. I can fly to Marc and Arlenes just to borrow a cup of sugar :) Of course, Mark hasn't inspected the planes yet (he checks the wings to make sure all the rivets are in place before we take off) and we might end up flying in a sardine can.

To start research on ports - towd.com. it lists every tourist board.
europeforvisitors.com is good for guide information, etc.
freetranslation.com allows me to speak to local taxis at dockside by telling them what we would like to do and where to go. (and how much !!!)
I was told that sidestep.com is good for air fares.
accuweather.com is the best for finding weather forecasts worldwide.
quotetravelinsurance.com is good.
cruisediva.com is for info. on many popular ports
I also use the travel sections of NY Times and the London Guardian for past reviews of destinations.

There is a great source of information at fodors.com. But when one goes to "Europe" for example, about 100/day are posted and much time is spent in trolling. I asked a question and after 2 days it was on part 3!!

That's true , although the trolling has decreased since Fodors made registration mandatory. If I asked a question and got no answer after a whole day I would "top" it and it would come back to the top of page 1.

I was just poking around on some of these sites, and I clicked on Cybercruises (posted by Claudia), which somehow linked me to www.seacruisereviews.com. SHEESH! That is THE best website I have seen yet for my port research. Each port has a link, which takes you to the most in-depth and detailed site about that location. Basically, my research is now done! All I have to do is go to those sites and print out what they have to offer, put it all in a binder, and I've got all I need. Have I mentioned recently how much I love LCT? :D

Thanks for reminding me about www.cruisereviews.com I looked there, and sure enough, they still have my review of the Paul Gauguin from May 2000! They garbled it a bit, but it's nice to see it and remember!

What a fantastic time-waster!
So far I've only looked at Krooz Cams and Seat Guru (located my seat on Qantas) - the rest should keep me busy until my flight leaves in August!
