While trying to stalk the ex Song of Flower today, I came across this web cam pic of the Voyager in Venice seen from the Costa Meditteranea

It has been awhile since an appearance on the 'front page!' On our last day on Voyager, Sept. 24th. (Rouen - Barcelona) a Costa ship docked before we did. It was a new name which I forgot. Anyhow, their dock was much closer to town than Voyager which still docks way, way out.
We are booked on Silver Shadow April 2, 05, so later on I will try to find web cam sites.
Sailing from M.Carlo to Rome with an intriguing stop in Corsica.

This looks like fun. Can anyone tell me the rules? Are there teapots involved? ;)

No rules and no teapots - but finding cool webcams to locate RSSC ships earns brownie points!!

Hey, I'm interested in anything that involves brownies! ;)

I thought I would try to play, but when I started checking out the view from a bunch of webcams I realized I'm at a distinct disadvantage because I don't know what the ships look like!

LeeAnne, I think the expert Karen knows where the ships are, and when she goes to the webcam and it is a broad view of the port, just pick the smallest ship and that is probably a RSSC one! The Diamond has a very distinctive hull, so that one is easy. Karen's gift is, like in the picture above, knowing where the "other" ships are that have webcams from their bow! That is a learned talent, and I know I'll never get to that level.

LeeAnne,
We would love to add you to our group of stalkers! I find it easiest to look at the Radisson site, see where the ships are for the day and go from there.

For instance, tomorrow the Voyager is at Naxos, the Diamond is at Barcelona, the Mariner is at sea, the PG is at Moorea and the Navigator is at sea.

Barcelona and Moorea are have pretty good chances of seeing the ships.

We might be able to catch the PG if it passes by this Moorea Pearl resort cam:

And tomorrow, the Costa Europa and the Fortuna will be at Barcelona with the Diamond. You can find the ships and their webcams here at Kroooz cams.
The Costa ships have a cam on the bow and aft so they are my favoite ships to stalk from.
Here is a pic of the Costa Fortuna this evening in Barcelona taken from the bow.

Wow! What a lot of fun! Just poking around and looking at all these webcams all over the world sounds like a great way to pass the boring time in between cruises. ;) I was only looking at webcams on ships, figuring I had the best chance of seeing other ships at the same port. I wouldn't have thought of looking at webcames at various resorts. This could be addicting!

Looks pretty stormy in Moorea today, huh?

Joanna, I've been sipping my afternoon green tea every day from my leaky Titanic tea pot! :)

Okay, this is freaky -- I just noticed that the webcam picture that Karen posted yesterday has changed -- now it's not raining there! I'm no tech wiz, but aren't those just snapshots that you posted? Or are they somehow linked to the webcam so that when it updates, your picture here updates? I'm stumped. Either that, or I was having an acid flashback yesterday when it looked like it was raining in Moorea!

LeeAnne, I linked it right to the webcam so your not hallucinating :)

Some webcams I can like right to, others like the Costa cams, I can't.

What a wonderful sight...we were suppose to board the Voyager on Monday in Monte Carlo - but now I'll just have to be happy with stalking her - my spirit will be cruising even if my body isn't.

Voyager is in Monte Carlo - you can just barely see her on Krooze-cam.

I'm still going to imagine each day as though we kept our original plans! I'll let you know when we get to Venice!

Buon giorno Voyager!

Jeff helped me get this image. I think it's Voyager in Civitavecchia. It's taken from the bridgecam of Costa's Allegra.

I gave some instructions to someone who had "Sorrento" as a topic but did not hear more. I still visit once in a while.
Our next cruise is on Silver Shadow, M.Carlo to Rome, Apr. 2nd. so I have time to search for another manhole cover, or whatever.
I found http;//cruiseclues.com/portschedules.htm.
which gives the ships in port on any given day.
Perhaps we can meet a ship with a bridge cam.

Karen...what a sleuth you are! The Galaxy was here when we arrived this morning, but she was docked perpendicular to the Navigotor so I don't think we were ever in camera range.

They left a 1 pm....we waved goodbye from the pool deck and went back to enjoying our Margaritas....tough job - we're doing our best to keep up the LCT traditions!

Cheers!

Hello Voyager and LeeAnne!

It's been a while since we've had a good stalk. But I'm sure we'll do better now that some of the ships are going back to Europe.
