Also, we have booked the b2b. So, we're continuing on from Hamburg to Lisbon.

Well last evening I got on line and booked our own business class air for this cruise. United/ Lufthansa. Billings to Denver. Denver to Munich. Munich to Stockholm. Hamburg to Frankfurt. Frankfurt to Denver. Denver to Billings.
Saved a bunch of $$$$$ don't have deviation charges, and we get the mileage points!

When the air is done it feels SO GOOD. Fortunately Ken does all our air and he is good at it for sure.

Jeff, Helen, Jan, and I have made our shuttle reservations from Stockholm airport to Hilton Garden Inn on the 16th. Well I should say we each made our own since our arrival is different.
We all do have are shuttle reservations from the hotel to the ship. Still working on the ship to hotel in Hamburg. Do have our own shuttles lined up from Hampton Inn & Suites to Hamburg airport on the 4th.
Now to figure out what to do in Stockholm August 17th-18th. and also Hamburg September 2nd - 3rd

You are a planner Jim! We are quick on flights but not transfers. Ken works on the day that the flights open. Usually do a taxi or an uber finding ubers all over the world. On occassion with a tight flight connection we set up a transfer.

Now we have everything booked and ready except. Disembarking the ship in Hamburg. The 4 of us would like to be picked up, ( with luggage), from the ship. Given a 4 to 5 hour tour, before taken to the Hampton Inn & Suites where we are staying. So far cannot find anything. Even chatted on VIATOR and they had no idea except to have a shuttle pick us up at the ship. Take us directly to the hotel. Put luggage in storage, then find a tour or maybe hop on hop off.
Still working on it.

June and I saw a travel show recently that featured Hamburg. One of the things mentioned on the show was a harbor cruise. From what June and I saw that looked like another option to the hop on hop off.

As you may recall June and I are booked and doing a back to back, going on to Lisbon from Hamburg. We thought we might do the harbor cruise while in the port for the turnover.

Looks like Jeff, Helen, Jan & I are trying to figure out how to get from the ship to our hotel when we disembark September 2nd in Hamburg.
Hampton Inn & Suites is a couple of blocks from "old town" so plan on going there after checking in or storing our luggage.
September 3rd Miniature Museum is a must then also plan on HOHO bus & boat tour.
September 4th Jan and I have shuttle arrangements to Hamburg Airport for 11 am flight Jeff & Helen have a late afternoon flight so did their own.

Have not heard what Tim & Miriam have planned. They are slightly busy right now with February wedding plans.

Our passports were down to 2-pages left. Even though they expired May 2028 they no longer allow adding additional pages in the one you have.
Had to do it at the post office because I lost the credit card passport which required extra sheets to file. Sent them in on Friday January 21st and received our 50-page passports today Saturday February 15th.
Felt that was a reasonable time. Now we are good to February 2035.

Well I can tell you that there are 34 people in the group and 22 of them are in the "cult" as Dick calls it. So a lot of people you will know.

HAHA! It cracks me up every time I hear Dick say that! Alice and I had a great time visiting them last week. I'm excited about this itinerary. Even better knowing there will be lots of people we will know.

On another topic: I noticed the Disembarkation port in Hamburg is listed as Bremerhaven. When I look on Google Maps, Bremerhaven harbor appears to be about 2 hours drive to Hamburg. But there is a large cruise terminal more central to Hamburg. Am I missing something?

Kim, where do you see the reference to Bremerhaven as our arrival port? I checked port schedules for both Hamburg and Bremerhaven for September 2. They show us arriving in the port of Hamburg on September 2. The port of Bremerhaven shows no arrivals on September 2.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone in August in Stockholm.

I see what you're saying. I never noticed the reference to Bremerhaven on any of the the invoices for this cruise before. From everything I've seen, it's got to be a mistake. See you and Alice on the Voyager.

When we were in Hamburg on Silversea, we were at a dock right downtown. It was very convenient. We are also staying at the Hampton Inn overnight (unless the new conrad hotel which has been in the works for a couple of years actually opens--if it does, I want to check it out, but I am not optimistic as opening has been put off multiple times.) Hoping that Bremerhaven is a mistake.

I am checking on it and will let you know what I find out.

Jeff , Helen, Jan & I will be going to the Hampton Inn as well. And we also have been keeping our eye on the Conrad Hilton that is suppose to be opening.

Just FYI

Not sure if you had an invoice that showed Bremerhaven for debarkation. That made no sense, it is a long distance to Hamburg Airport.
