Ray and I have been traveling since 8/2 & have had no problems at all! We flew to Rome from LAX connecting in Montreal. Flights were on time & luggage arrived with us. Boarded the Explorer on 8/6 for 7 days ending in Venice. No Covid testing or masks needed.
Then we flew from Venice to Prague thru Vienna &, again, no delays or luggage issues. Spent 3 days in Prague & had a driver/guide from CK Shuttle take us from Prague to Budapest. Had a leisurely drive thru Vienna & Bratislava & spent 3 nights in Budapest.
Flew yesterday from Budapest to Athens with a layover in Istanbul. First leg about 45 minutes late but made connection fine & all luggage arrived. Just boarded the Explorer again for 22 days around the Greek isles & Turkey. Covid tests are currently required here as well as proof of vaccines but we hear that that will end early September.
Just wanted to share a good story after hearing about travel delays & luggage nightmares around the world.

Good to hear all has been smooth sailing and flying. We also had no issues with our Israel to Italy cruise in June (well, except for George coming down with covid when we returned).

Just a short unrelated post that I didn't want to start a thread for. For those if you with pets who find medical costs high, there is GoodRX for pets. https://www.goodrx.com/pets

Also a travel tip from a positive experience: get Apple air tags. I was able to get my “lost” luggage before our ship sailed because I was able to tell the airline where my bag was. It was In Minneapolis per the Apple tags though the airline had no clue since I was never boarded on that flight having been rebooked via Paris. Also I was comforted on the way home when my Apple tags showed my bags were on my plane after connecting in Heathrow. —————— Helen

Looking into Apple air tags today. We had some other brand a few years ago. They were just ok, not great and ran out of battery really fast.
