Just saw Marc's post and thought I should let everyone know this happened. He was on the Splendor in Nice, France when he had the heart attack. He was transferred by Ambulance to a Nice hospital. The ship's doctor referred him to a cardiologist he knew and he was a very good doctor. We were in Lisbon on the Endeavor and flew from Lisbon to Nice on the first flight we could get. When we arrived they had just finished putting in a stent. There was some heart damage but in an area that should rejuvenate. He is recovering really well. He was released on Tuesday and we got him all settled into the Hyatt Hotel in Nice. He needs a medical clearance before he can fly. We anticipate that will happen on October 23rd and he has air through Regent to come home. I heard from him today and he said he feels really good now. Walked a lot today for the first time and was just fine. Really took us by surprise. I could hardly believe he had a heart attack. He is under 50, active, and it appeared in really good health.

I am really thankful he was in Nice which has excellent hospitals and doctors and not some place off the coast of Africa or in the middle of the ocean!

Update on Clay.
Final doctors visit today and he was cleared to fly on October 23rd. He said he is feeling great now and cannot wait to get home.

He is home and back in the office already. Won’t be long before he is back on the golf course.
