I think all the ships will go this way eventually.

I agree, and I think it is the way to go - vaccine plus testing.

I like their no exceptions rule and think all cruise lines need to go this way. But I actually think they need to acquire vaccines to vaccinate the crew. With the time frame for resumption of cruising, they have adequate time to do that.

BYW, still waiting for my refunds from them--ridiculous given that both Regent and Oceania were able to refund in a relatively timely fashion.

No exceptions is a problem. Crystal doesn’t really get kid passengers so not an issue for them but we for instance have a Celebrity cruise booked with 25 family members in July and I think it unlikely that my 20- somethings would be able to get the vaccine in time but they can certainly get a Neg test. This is a trip that was cancelled for 2020 and it would really be a shame if only some of us are allowed to go.

I’m also still waiting for refund.

Well in the ice and snow we managed to get our second Pfizer shots.

Julie was having her second shot on Thursday same location as Ken had his first shot. Ken offered to drive her (still very icy) and just "hope" they might give him his shot as well. Just before they arrived he got a text saying anyone who missed their appointment due to the weather could come in today. Not many people when they got there. When they came out after the shot there were long lines. Later that day they send out another text that they had no more vaccine. Good plan to go down with Julie!

I got mine yesterday. Vaccination spot slightly tender to the touch the first day. Absolutely no side effects for either one of us. Our snow is disappearing with warmer temperatures and no more issues anticipated next week. Yeah back to normal again.

Hope not too many burst pipes creating problems for people we had no problems with freezing pipes. Susan had a flooded kitchen. Clay had a few swimming pool pipes break but an easy fix.

So happy to hear you got your 2nd shot, ours is for this Friday. I hope it's not cancelled with delivery issues to CA due to all the terrible weather. We've been worried about all our dear friends who have been affected with the bad weather. It sounds like weather conditions are showing big improvement with sunshine and warmer temps.

My appointment for the 2nd vaccine was on Saturday. I was worried earlier in the week that the ice would prevent me from getting it. But fortunately the temps got above freezing and the roads pretty much cleared off so I got the 2nd shot. Like Ngaire, I have some soreness at the injection site but so far that's it for side effects. I feel like I've accomplished something clap
