Early October the itineraries will come out for Regent. I need to pick the escorted trips immediately. Where Ken and I go is not important what is important is picking trips that the majority of you want to do. So either post here or send me an email of your "wish list" and I will see where everyone's interest lies. .

Some thoughts of mine to do the trips we missed in 2020.

Holy Land as that was a trip many of you were booked on that was cancelled. Maybe connect it to either a Greek Island itinerary or the Black Sea.
Most likely do a NZ trip if January, 2021 is cancelled as we anticipate.
Most likely will do a longer shoulder season Alaska trip as we missed that trip in 2020 as well
Possible crossing on the Splendor to spend time on that fabulous ship.

Had an email asking me what we might host and she included a wish list of these trips

Holy Land
West Coast of Africa - probably Lisbon to Cape Town
USA to Japan
New Zealand
Greenland

Also been asked about a Cape Town to Cape Town with a short safari either pre or post.
Baltics and I have not done that for YEARS it was almost an annual event for a long time.

Please let me know what you are interested in so I can chose wisely! I will pick what the majority of you are interested in. Email or post either is fine.

Holy land has been on my radar for awhile. We were pretty disappointed when this year got cancelled.

Thanks Helen, three votes now for the Holy Land so I am 99% sure I will do a Holy Land trip. There were around 80 people on that June sailing so I know that is a trip that many of my clients want to do.

Japan would be great; to, from, or start and end in Tokyo.

Okay Marc your wish marked on my spreadsheet. I love Japan did that on Samurai in 2019.

Another vote for Holly Land (we had the broken pod and never left Athens). ⭐️

Looking like the a landslide for the Holy Land. The Un-Tut cruise. We will all remember that trip!

Ship - the Splendor; had a great Maiden Voyage on her - no longer interested in the Explorer.
Itinerary - New Zealand; it'll be 60 years since I was there.
Reality - anywhere for 20+ nights.

Thanks Jim,

I definitely want one cruise on the Splendor even if it is a crossing. I loved my four days on the Splendor. Still hoping for November 28, 2020 or December 7, 2020. They seem to be delaying the next cancellations I hope that is a good sign.

Splendor being newest ship will not be on the prime itineraries so highly unlikely it will be in New Zealand unfortunately.

Vote for NZ and either a back to back or longer trip for 20+ days.

If the Grand Asia Exploration Grand Voyage gets cancelled Stacy and I would be interested in Japan. That was one of our main reasons for booking that itinerary.

We are on the Grand Asia as well - I feel pretty sure it will not happen sad We have a back up Japan cruise booked for spring 2022

More for Japan. This is all really helpful - got emails too so now I have some guidelines and hopefully more will keep coming.

If AUS/NZ gets cancelled for us in Jan 2021, and you put together another sailing, we'd get on that one. Otherwise, Holy Lands sounds great!

Ngaire, we would be interested in a crossing on the Splendor from Europe to the US.

Yes that is on my list. I have five cruises with Regent a year so now I have to make choices.

Holy Land and Japan, but can only do 14 day or less cruises. My practice almost fell apart with the Antarctica cruise. Can’t begone again that long.

Ngaire, we agree with Peggy...Something to Alaska from LA or visa versa or even Vancouver to Vancouver would be great since TOTEM was cancelled.

I have pretty much figured it out but until the schedule is released I cannot be 100% certain.

Will do the last Alaska cruise in September, Vancouver to LAX - replacement for Sept 23, 2020
Will do a Holy Land cruise in June (if it is offered and expect it will be) replacement for the June 4, 2020

So definitely trying to replace the two cruises that so many LCT people had booked.

Will also try to do the following if offered and as I can fit these cruises in time wise, they may not all work but this is my focus for 2022/2023 opening.

Lisbon to CPT West Africa itinerary with a safari on debarkation
Japan
Australia and New Zealand
Crossing Europe to USA
Splendor trip hopefully either Norway or Baltics

These were the cruises that had multiple requests.

They do that every year so you can do it BUT I can never get approved on that itinerary. Always a popular cruise. The best thing is the last regular Japan Itinerary followed by the Japan to US cruise as so much of the crossing is NOT Japan.

Unfortunately they do not always say YES to my requests. I know the cruises that they wont approve and this is one of them.

Jim,

If you can do the cruise in 2021, there is a 19 night Vancouver to Tokyo cruise on the Explorer leaving September 22 followed by a 12 night Tokyo to Tokyo cruise. After the Tokyo toTokyo cruise, you can do an included three night post cruise land program.

We are booked on the Voyager for May of 2021 to the Holy Lands but if it doesn't take place let us know about about the Holy Lands for 2022 as we really want to go there.

Kandy is from Georgetown, TX; that makes four of us (eight if you count spice) from Georgetown on LCT and KLT.

Yes I am using NYALA - Not Your Average Luxury Adventure for the safari post the VOY211030 cruise. Will definitely look to see if any fit the new 2022 and 2023 schedule once my cruise are approved.

MAORI - I can use for the Explorer December 20, 2021 (recently added cruise to my schedule) Over Christmas so it may work for some and not for others.
TOTEM I can use for Alaska 2022 -a replacement for the 2020 Alaska cruise so I think that will be approved.
ROME for the Holy Land 2022 as a replacement for the Holy Land 2020 so I think that will be approved.

I now know what we will be doing in 2022 and early 2023. I do not have itineraries just a time line and am going by what has been offered in the past. I am starting a waitlist for the opening if you want to email me or post here. I could not do all the different cruises requested so went where there was the most interest.

NEW ITINERARIES SHOULD BE UP ON LINE AT REGENT TOMORROW.

Embarkation, debarkation and ports may be different than I have posted here or what it was in 2021. Estimated nights based on past cruises.

EXPLORER – JUNE 5, 2022 – HOLY LAND – Haifa to Venice -14 nights
Replacement Cruise for the June 2020 cruise
Similar Example 2021 cruise: https://www.rssc.com/cruises/VOY210528/summary?source=top%20results

SPLENDOR – JULY, 8 2022 – NORWAY & BALTICS – Copenhagen to Stockholm - 18 nights
Nice trip with the best of Norway and some ports of call in the Baltics that I have never been to before in Russia, Finland, Poland and Latvia.
Similar Example 2021 cruise: https://www.rssc.com/cruises/SPL210707/summary
Would have done this in 2021 but I have a “safari “ at the same time.

MARINER – SEPTEMBER 21 2022 – ALASKA - Vancouver to LAX – 12 nights
Replacement cruise for the September 2020 cruise
Should be the same itinerary and 2020.

VOYAGER – NOVEMBER 12, 2022 – WEST AFRICA AND SAFARI - Lisbon to Cape Town – 24 nights
Followed by Ngaire & Ken led 4 night safari to Mala Mala Game Reserve
This was the most requested sailing and those that requested also booked the safari.
Only a few rooms are left and we will use both Rattrays and Sable lodges.
There will be safaris offered by Regent as well of course that will be shorter.

NAVIGATOR – JANUARY 23, 2023 – CARIBBEAN – Miami to Bridgetown, Barbados – 11 nights
A winter getaway and been a long time since we sailed on the Navigator

EXPLORER – MARCH 28, 2023 – JAPAN – Tokyo to Tokyo – 14 nights
This is cherry blossom time and we did this a few years back it was beautiful.
Similar Example 2021 cruise: https://www.rssc.com/cruises/EXP210406/summary

Hard to find everything in that brochure. I just heard going live on line tomorrow. That will be much easier. Glad it will be out soon so booking will be next week probably on Wednesday. I will go through and put the dates on my post from yesterday.
