I saw very sad news on Facebook earlier today. Tim Lundell posted that his wife Penny has passed away from a very aggressive form of cancer after a four month battle. Such sad news for all of us who have cruised with them in the past. She was such a beautiful person inside and out

She certainly was, Arlene. I am heartsick right now. We have lost so many of the wonderful friends we have met while cruising. Our love goes out to the entire Lundell family.

Penny was a “bright spark”. Full of life and I remember so many wonderful times with her and Tim. So sad for her to pass at such a young age. Our thoughts are with Tim and the the family.

Jan and I are very upset to hear this news. Had contacted Tim months ago to talk about 2 cruises they had lined up and he informed me then that Penny had just been to the Doctor and everything was on hold. If anyone would like to send a card or email.

Oh so sad. Remember them from FROLIC, and enjoyed them so much. Our thoughts go out to Tim and their family.

My heartfelt thanks to all of you for your notes of love and sadness. Penny's cancer came suddenly and with little warning, but we had hoped for more time before she was taken away. She so loved cruising with our dear LCT friends, and we were really hoping to have one more adventure together. It was just not to be. Perhaps there will still be opportunities for me to join you all again in the future, but surely her absence will be felt. Penny's obituary is at https://www.legacy.com/obituaries/m...-oneill&pid=193631515&fhid=2112. The picture I chose was taken on our last cruise in 2017, on the Explorer, Miami to Barcelona. She had a wonderful time, and I think that is reflected in her smile.

Nice to hear from you Tim. Penny was such a delightful lady. I will always remember her and her pretty dresses. She had the prettiest ones and always looked so nice. We will miss her. I hope we will see you cruising again. Don’t be a stranger

Tim, that obituary is one of the most loving and beautiful I have ever read. Frank and I both remember meeting you both on that cruise and enjoying coffee in the coffee bar several mornings. I remember her being so interested in everyone around and wanting to know about them. Our hearts and love to you and your family. She will be missed.

Tim, that was a beautiful obituary. Penny was such a nice, classy lady. She won't be forgotten...nor will you. I do hope we're able to cruise with you again in the future. Our deep condolences to you and your family. Sending you hugs, prayers and strength during this difficult time.
