This looks like a credit card promotion to me so you will have to contact your credit card with your number, type of card etc to determine the details. Nowhere near enough information here but there are always "conditions" on these offers.

Here is the link in the email to the Chase offer, I am afraid it doesn't give much more info:

I think this is confusing and misleading. I googled "Chase United Presidential" card and it says no longer available. We have several Chase cards and we're on the Crystal river B2B cruise...not sure there's anything we can get out of it.

Marc, you're good at this stuff....there's very little info?

Ken could not find anything either he has a chase card. Just a link to Crystal.
I called Crystal the representative had no idea what this about. Said to contact the credit card company.

If viable I would guess it would be new charges to a chase card only and not retroactive.

I will get Ken to call Chase tomorrow (he is at the office right now) and also maybe those who have a chase card can call and see if we can find anything.

I got the promotion, but the way I read it is that it is not retroactive and is for new bookings only.

Thanks Rachel much appreciated. These types of offers seldom are retroactive and usually have restrictions as well.

Okay I decided to follow this up. After three phone calls and a ton of wait time I finally got someone and got some answers. Here are the rules.

Not retroactive as Rachel said must be a new booking.
Any Crystal Cruise - no restrictions.
10% of the full cruise price up to $642 (but more on that below) not just on the deposit.

Chase has a regular "travel agency" where they book air, cruises etc. She did not really know about the 10% discount but said if it is on the credit card as an offer she could get it applied.
I asked if the 10% was on the deposit only or the full cruise. She said the full cruise. I asked if just a deposit would count or the entire amount would have to be paid. She said she was not sure she would have to check the offer.

She then tried to get me to use them to book" best we book it for you" or you might not get that discount. I asked her if I have a problem with a cruise do I have to call and go through the same process I just did - she said "yes". So I said this has been very difficult to just get to you. I have a travel agent I like to use can I book outside of your Chase travel company and still get the discount. She said YES if it is a current credit card offer.

Then I asked her how do I get my travel agent to identify the full cost of the cruises so Chase knows the cost of the cruise for the 10% discount . She said "I don't know". At this point I just gave up not wanting to talk to yet another person. She did not know which different Chase cards have this offer she is just the travel agency.

If anyone books a new Crystal Cruse while this offer is in place we will pursue this further for them but it took a long time to just get this far so not going any further unless necessary.

This is confusing. Not sure of the dates when this is in effect but we booked/deposited our B2B Crystal river cruise on December 4, 2018 on a Chase Sapphire Reserve c.c. (through KLT of course).

The odds are this would not have been in effect way back then Marcie these promotions are usually a very limited time period. They keep changing too. Plus we have some people that booked those Crystal cruises that i believe would have checked the Benefits Area of their cards before booking. Most have the Chase Sapphire card.

There are so many cards out there that there is no way KLT would ever know about any of these promotions unless someone told us about the benefits. I have never seen anything on the luxury lines before. Except AMX Platinum which is now not combinable with anything now. PLUS we did not dig far enough if we had applied it very likely it would not be combinable with whatever benefit we get. Signatures, KLT Group, SBC.

I did get a notice from Chase just last week that the promotion had been applied to my account, and I will see the credit on my next statement. That is great, and makes the Chase card have even more value and worth the annual fee. I will be checking promotions more regularly now.

Rachel, great news; I just paid off Crystal river cruise since promotion ending date is Friday; hopefully my credit comes just as easily.

OK, we're making a payment today on our Chase card. Please tell me it only requires a payment..not the balance paid in full ?? On the Chase credit card I did see this as a promo. Maximum you can receive is $245. ? Making sure we're talking apples to apples.

I got $450 off which is the max apparently. Does not require full payment.

Rachel, We used Tom's Visa card once before and got $450. off. It's a one time use.Since we couldn't use his twice, I needed to use my card this time , mine only showed a maximum of $245. I must be the little fish in the big pond. At least we got something. Mine also showed a maximum of getting 5% back so rather than pay in full, I just paid $4800. (equated to getting the max of $245. back).

Tom has some lifetime status with AA, probably why he had the better offer than me.

Good for you Marc & Arlene !!

It's strange because we booked using Tom's Chase Sapphire Reserve card but printed below the offer says:

Earn 5% back on your Crystal voyage, with a $240.00 back maximum. Offer expires 7/31/2019. Offer valid one time only. Offer not valid on third-party purchases. Payment must be made on or before offer expiration date.

Every bit sure helps but why the discreprency from what you and Karen received? Maybe you used a different Chase card? Or maybe "words out" on the Matassa's sad We'll have to see on our next statement.

These credit card offers appear to be specific to each individual on exactly the same credit cards and often have different amounts. I assume it is done electronically based on certain parameters. It was not an applicable on our Chase card at all. Given me fits in the past when some have it, some do not, and that the amounts are also different.
