It is with great sorrow I post that Kristin Rudi passed away unexpectedly yesterday. Her husband Greg shared that Kristin loved the the friends she made on LCT and was always talking about where people were going on their upcoming trips. She will be greatly missed.

Oh my gosh......that is so sad. We had many fun times on cruises with them. Did he say what happened? Oh I am just so sorry to hear this.

Her husband came home from work on the same day she posted her November cruise and found her unresponsive on the floor. I don't know anything else, but as far as I know she had not been ill.

Such sad news. An unexpected passing like this is always such a shock. She was way too young and our thoughts go out to Greg.

I am so sad to hear this, She and Greg are such a wonderful couple. I am just devastated for Greg, they were so sweet together and I know how much they loved each other. I just can't believe it, so very sad.

So sad for Greg. We loved Kristin and were talking with her about trying to find a time to travel again together. She was such a vibrant personality -- she'll be missed.

I am so sorry to hear about Kristin. She was such a sweet girl and full of fun. My condolences to you, Greg, if you can see this. This is turning out to be a very sad year for KLT cruisers. To those friends we have so tragically lost, Rest in Peace.

I am so sorry to hear this. We never met in person, but I very much enjoyed her posts and felt that we would be fast friends when we did meet.

I'm in disbelief. They were such a fun couple to travel with and I'm sure lots of LCT'ers met them in Dallas as well. My prayers are with Greg and all those who loved her.....way too many friends are leaving us way too soon.

I never met Kristin, but have so enjoyed seeing her posts here in LCT. Although we know it could happen at any moment, the thought of continuing on without my soulmate and husband David makes my heart heavy thinking about Greg and the heartbreak and feeling of loss he must be experiencing. At 48 years, she was way too young. And even if you did not know her, just looking at the photos makes you feel like you did! Such an awesome smile and reflection of her love of life. Wish I had known you Kristin. Rest in peace. Here is link to her obituary for those interested... Kristin ObituaryAnd for those of you on Facebook, these photos that her husband Greg posted will truly touch your heart! Kristin Facebook
