Peggy shared the information below with me to pass on to all their LCT friends and to share on LCT.

By now I think everyone is aware that Jerry Wolf passed away last week. A wonderful man and those of us who knew Jerry were blessed to have him in our lives. I have so many memories of Jerry dating back to my first ever escorted cruise. There have been many cruises and trips since those days from Africa - Antarctica and then also all places WARM. He will be fondly remembered and missed.

There will not be a funeral – Jerry did not want that.

For those who'd like to give a gift in Jerry’s name there are two charities to choose from.

The Prince of Peace Christian School that Jerry supports and some of his grandchildren attend..

The Navy League of the United States a charity for Naval Veterans

Please indicate that the donation is in memory of Jerry Wolf

So sad to hear of Jerry's passing Peggy. May he rest in peace. Keeping you and your family in prayer during this difficult time.

Jerry didn't want a funeral-- or a memorial service--but he didn't say we couldn't have a celebration of his life. So that's what we're doing on July 28. Anyone who wants is welcome to attend. Send me an email or a private message and I'll give you the details.
Thank you everyone so much for your thoughts, prayers and supportive emails. We had such a wonderful life together and such great friends, that those memories will sustain me.

Peggy and Jerry were the perfect couple and were so lucky to have each other. We adored Jerry and it's hard to imagine a world without him in it. He was one of the most kind, thoughtful, generous and giving people I have ever known. When we were with him it was an endless stream of, Are you okay? Do you need anything? Can I do anything for you? Do you want something else from the buffet? One of my favorite recent memories is how he loved to bring Peggy those little ice cream cone desserts from La Veranda. His stories were endless and fascinating. He loved life, Peggy and his children, his friends, traveling, warm weather and the Navy. He knew so much about so many things, including his evening cocktails! l If it weren't for Jerry I wouldn't know about Johnny Walker Blue, Salty Dogs and what a hot toddy is. I am heartbroken that we have lost him and send Peggy our love. I hope the love of her friends and family and her wonderful memories will help to give her the strength to get through the sadness.

Oh Peggy, how I wish we could be there for the celebration of Jerry's life. He was just so kind to us. I remember when we lived in Fort Worth and Greg lost his job, he kept saying, "Is there anything I can do to help you? Just say the word!" As Kathy said, he was always thinking of others and putting them above himself. We really loved spending time with you both. We'll be there in spirit and our hearts and prayers go out to you. Please let us know if there is anything we can do here "from afar".

Bob and I have been lucky to be with Peggy and Jerry in all our Regent cruises, maybe except one. It didnt matter if at times there were a few years in between cruises , it was always as if we had seen each other the day before. Jerry was a talker and a listener. I was always amazed he would remember details about our kids I had told him in our last cruise. I loved his wit, his take on life, and his warmth . He always made everybody around him feel at ease and important in the conversation. We're sad beyond words, I can only imagine how heartbroken Peggy and his family are. I send them our love.
