If you are lucky enough to be cruising during the month, please list your cruise dates and ports. Maybe we will even be able to stalk you along your journey!

We've been to Alaska several times,. but this time we are introducing David's sister and her husband to this beautiful place. It will also be their first time cruising.

We will be spending 2 weeks inland and then finishing up with a 10 day cruise on the Mariner. There are a couple of ports on this itinerary we have not visited before (Hoonah and Wrangell).

June 20 Wed Seward
June 21 Thurs Cruising Hubbard Glacier
June 22 Fri Icy Straight Point (Hoonah)
June 23 Sat Juneau
June 24 Sun Skagway
June 25 Mon Sitka
June 26 Tues Wrangell
June 27 Wed Ketchikan
June 28 Thurs Cruising the Inside Passage
June 29 Fri Victoria, BC
June 30 Sat Vancouver, BC

I'm envious!! Would love to this itinerary Crystal and Beth, but just not on the Navigator! Hopefully they will offer a similar itinerary on one of the other ships some day!

Michael and I are two of the lucky cruise buddies joining Beth and Crystal but not until Barcelona. I'm not a fan of Navigator but would never say 'no' to a Regent cruise. We have toured Navigator since its refurbishment and didn't recognise it - great improvement!

Prior to experiencing the Explorer, the Navigator was my favorite ship. Since it's been a while since I was on her (not since before the refurbishment), I look forward to making a fresh comparison. I guess I just have a soft spot for quirky little ships.

Cindy, I have been cruising on Navigator since the early 2000s. She has her drawbacks but I love that you get get from one place to another easily and get to know other passengers, staff and crew quicker.

Hey Beth - We have been on Navigator 4 times. The first couple of times we really enjoyed it, but we were not happy when they got rid of the observation lounge. Even though it wasn't a true bar, at least you could go up there and enjoy the view after grabbing a drink at one of the other bars. We were never bothered by any of the "vibrations" that others complain about. I know lot's of folks love the Navigator! If they put the observation lounge back, we might try her again (but I don't think that's gonna happen - they make too much money with the spa!)!

I know ya'll will have a great cruise - such an awesome itinerary! thumbsup wave

This question has nothing to do with Navigator but didn't want to start a new "thingy". In our local papers for the last two weeks there has been an advertisement for Regent which had a flag "laundry included". Is that for that particular sailing?

My understanding is that Regent is beginning to include laundry as one of the "included" all-inclusive benefits on Mediterranean voyages. Not sure about others...

Lee, I saw something about included laundry on certain sailings. For our cuise, I see this posted on the Regent website.

ALL FARES INCLUDE: 2-FOR-1 All-Inclusive Fares, FREE Business Class Air* on All Intercontinental Flights, FREE Air* on Domestic Flights BOTH with FREE Transfers Between Airport and Ship, FREE Unlimited Shore Excursions, FREE Unlimited Beverages Including Fine Wines and Premium Spirits, FREE Open Bars and Lounges Plus In-Suite Mini-Bar Replenished Daily, FREE Pre-Paid Gratuities, FREE Specialty Restaurants, FREE Unlimited WiFi.

I recommend you get a copy of the ad in your paper and read it carefully to see if this is for Australian cruisers. It would be logical with your luggage restrictions.

Cindy,

On my first Navigator cruise, I do remember a room forward on deck 12 where the Fitness Room is now. That room was used for the Art Auctions. At that time, I had to stand on my toes to see out the forward window, so not the best Obsrevation area for me. Since that cruise, the area has been the spa.

Hi Beth: Found the advertisement which offered free laundry and it is for Barcelona to Venice/Venice to Rome on Voyager on 23 July (12 nights) and 4 August (7 nights) - no mention of it only being available to Aussies. I can dream!!!

Beth, the Navigator was my first cruise as well, in 2000 her maiden year. I went to Alaska on her for my first cruise as I remember. And second cruise as well, I think Russia and the Baltics. That "Observation Lounge" was behind the bow of the boat. As much as I hated to see them take it away, really, when you were in there, you could barely see what was ahead of you unless you were outside and out on the deck standing forward. I've been on her several times over the years since, and love the ship. Just the way it was at the time for Radisson then. No opinion on my part for that, except I'm glad it's different now on other ships. I choose by itinerary and deal with it.

Thanks, Olivia. Glad to know that I'm not the only one who had difficulty seeing out that forward window. I guess Navigator wasn't originally made as a cruise ship. Not having an O Lounge isn't a gamechanger for me. We will be ready to rock-n-roll this summer.
