Thought I'd get the thread started since Ngaire and Ken are probably recovering from their long flight to Vancouver from Reykjavik!

Jerel and I have been in Vancouver since late Saturday night at the Fairmont Pacific Rim. Quite the lovely hotel across the street from Canada Place. It's been fun every morning seeing which ship is docked, although unfortunately the Mariner is on the other side today so I can't see her from our window. The weather has been wonderful and we've had some great dinners.

Channeled Ngaire a bit last night at CinCin with an amazing rack of lamb. Started with some wonderful burrata and we shared some freshly made ravioli.







We're just finishing up packing and will be heading over to board the Mariner shortly. Looking forward to seeing Al & Kathy, Ken & Ngaire and all the other Moosers!!

Thanks for starting the thread Andrea. That rack of lamb would suit me looks yummy.

What a glorious day in Vancouver felt like I was back in Greenland with the blue sky and sun just a lot warmer here. My daughter Cindy and her husband Mark are onboard with us so that is nice. So is Nancy our new KLT salesperson and her husband Joe. Plus lots of other people i am looking forward to seeing.

Great dinner last night, Dover Sole another favorite. Looking forward to seven restful days and the Ketchikan dungerness crab excursion. I missed that last time I was in Alaska.

Look forward to seeing everyone around the ship today.

As always, it's great to be back on the Mariner! Lots of staff changes since we were here last month.

While we were checking in yesterday there was a cute couple next to us who were so excited and asking lots of questions. We found out they have never been on a cruise before and had won this one on The Price is Right! Life is good!

WOW! The Price is Right is moving up in the world as far as cruise lines go. This couple will get spoiled on Mariner.

I watch that show religiously. I remember someone won this cruise and I was so excited for them. For several years there they were giving away Med cruises on Costa. NO THANK YOU ;-(

Our good friends Sherrie and Robert Green are on this trip. They are clients of Susan Walsh, but have never been on an escorted cruise.

We are having dinner with the Greens tonight and looking forward to that.

Have them tell you the story of how we are hosting a wedding tomorrow for a hurricane Harvey bride and groom.

Wishing all the Moose a fabulous trip with the 3 S's (sunny skies, smooth seas & sea mail) and LOTS of gorgeous viewing.

Rainy in Ketchikan as expected. We did the crab fest and I absolutely loved it. I have done it before and it was just as I remembered it. YUMMY. All the crab you can eat and we all did justice to the "all you can eat" aspect of the tour.

Tonight we have our cocktail party and tomorrow Juneau.

Harbor Seals.

Whale watching was good. Very calm conditions and blue sky at times but mostly cloudy. We saw quite a few flutes so it was a good day.

Next day in Wrangell we had a nice day with sunshine. There was a craft show in town and live music at 4.00 pm so people enjoyed that. One couple went on a bear watch they said was super. Outstanding dinner in Prime 7 everything was great. The lobster tails particularly outstanding.

Today we were in Prince Rupert. The Titanium, Platinum, Gold party was on the back of the Horizon lounge outside. Not cold but very foggy then suddenly it cleared up and was blue skys, pine covered mountains and very calm seas. Beautiful. Prince Rupert treated us to a warm and sunny day. A lovely way to end the cruise.
