I've never posted seamail before, let alone started one, so I hope I'm doing this the right way. There was a special Platinum/Titanium event tonight that Gudrun and Michael Coghlan put together at the last minute. At 6:00 were were invited to the Regent Suite, 1400, for cocktails and canapés. What a privilege! This is the first cruise that the suite has not been booked, so we were given the unique opportunity to see it at our leisure. From the $250k Steinway piano to the gorgeous bedrooms and bathrooms I think it is safe to say we were all in awe. It's probably also safe to say we will never have this chance again and we are so lucky to have been able to be here.

What an event coupled with you posting for the first time. Lots of great firsts!! It is stunning isn't it a really amazing suite. What a brilliant idea on the part of Gudrun and Michael. Tell them both HELLO for me and that Frolic is arriving very soon!!

Ahoy, Kathy! Have a great cruise.

(Can't get my head around how much discretionary cash one must have to book that suite.)

Yes it was amazing and very special. Michael said it was really Gudrun's idea and she readily accepted the credit! We said good-bye to both of them this morning and were off the ship before I saw your post, Ngaire....sorry!

Helen, I'm not worried about wrapping my head around it. It's never going to be a problem I might have! Haha!

How fun was that Kathy !! WOW. That was such a great idea.

Some of us were lucky enough to see it on the "turnaround" day on the MED B2B when they were getting it spiffed up for the next guests. I doubt we'll ever see it again.
