Part 1 of 3 - Ray & Penny do Alaska

Penny and I originally signed up with Celebrity Cruise Line to "float" on the inaugural sailing of its new ship,
Mellennium, but alas, it failed to be constructed in time so we decided to do Alaska instead. It was a good decision as Princess treated us well and we saw a lot of Alaska during our 12-day journey via cruise ship/helicopter/train/paddle wheeler/busses/ & train again.

So what you will see today is Part 1 of 3 videos covering our adventure. At the time, I was not into editing of video and consequently video was left unattended for years until recently when my eldest brother, a pro in the biz, helped me out by getting the video into a format I could use. Also, digital cameras were not in vogue at the time so what you see is photos of photos that are in albums. Not the same quality but not that bad either. Better than nothing.

Upon finishing up Alaska, I'll next be into editing our exciting journey via Celebrity's Mercury of South America covering "Carnival Rio 2001" that was an over-the-top experience.

In the meantime, here's the start of Alaska:

Cheers! Ray

Alaska - Part 2 of 3

Part 2 whisks you away on a train trip and then on to to a dog resort where you will get to hold and pet baby pups. Remember, total number of pups handed out has to be the same when puppy session ends and pups are taken back to their quarters so don't think for a second that you can keep one of these furry creatures. Video is about 18 mins. long.

Cheers! Ray
