Capt. Dag's Village After our first cruise on Radisson (French Polynesia in March 2003), we talked to Gruden about what future cruise she would recommend and she said Capt. Dag's Cruise of Norway in June 2004 would be her favorite. We took her up on it and we were glad we did. It was our first escorted cruise with a gal named Ngaire. Ngaire!?? Well, you know the rest of the story. Hope you enjoy your visit. Cheers! Ray

Oh Ray - that brought back so many memories - pity we weren't on it with you!!! Our visit was just as much fun but wet and cold and we weren't met with the same enthusiasm, although Captain Dag was at his home with us. I can still taste those cakes - they were so rich and filling. I can't remember finishing one but I suppose I did! Regent sure has lost a fantastic captain (hope I'm allowed to say that). Lee

Ngaire: Truly it was! Lee: It was a pity you weren't with us as the weather was terrific during our voyage and very memorable. However we did meet for the first time on the Baltic Cruise and once again, the weather was super. Hope our bows cross again soon!
Cheers! Ray & Penny

Well Ray, that's the obvious solution - we mustn't book a cruise unless you're going to be on it - that way we are guaranteed great weather!

Too funny Lee! My Mother-in-Law in England would tell people not to visit until Ray set a date to visit as the weather would be wonderful. My eldest daughter and grandchildren are there now and the weather is not the greatest. ; > )
Cheers! Ray

Thank you Ray - what a treat!
Now if only Regent had the wisdom to bring Capt. Dag back.

TedC:
Happy to hear you enjoyed the video to Capt. Dag's hometown. It was quite an enjoyable day.
Yes, indeed, Capt. Dag is sorely missed by many.
Cheers & Merry Christmas!

You may well ask why it has taken me almost 9 years to post this video and my reply is I didn't have a clue as to how to make a video until I started Apple computer classes in June 2008. Since 2008 I have been doing current projects but I find it rather fun to now go back and piece together past info to hopefully make an interesting viewing. So here we are and what you'll see today is Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen and Olden, Norway To watch full-screen click on the rectangular box on the right bottom side of video. Cheers! Visiting goat/summer farms & Flam Greetings: Today you will be visiting a goat farm, summer farm, and Geiranger to Flam. Please forgive any errors as I have taxed my memory too much revisiting Norway after nine years as to proper sequence of events. Anyway, it's the scenery that's important, right?! Cheers! Ray

Bergen, Norway Here's the last video of our tour of Norway, Capt. Dag's Way. Following our visit to Bergen, we disembarked at Copenhagen. A lovely cruise, indeed! Cheers! Ray
