WOW, Marcie - they are really spoiling you! Yes, the $1000 deposit on open booking sounds like a no-brainer!

Interesting with those "gifts" on your bed each night that was not done on the Soujourn. Been so long since I have personally been on one of the smaller Seabourn ships I wonder if that is done for everyone now OR if you are getting VIP treatment because you know someone of authority on that ship?

When we were on the Spirit last Dec. we did get some of those gifts Marcie mentioned, but not all. I think Ngaire may be on to something. :) Like, it ain't what you know..... ;)

We always do one or two open bookings each cruise on Seabourn. It is nice that you do not have to pick your cruise in advance. If I still have an unused open booking when I sail on them again, I have it converted to a new one and the 2-year timeframe starts again. Your travel agent for the cruise is automatically sent the open booking unless you intend to change agents.

I think Marcie knows people in high places! Ngaire's on to something, maybe, but we don't have a whole lot of SB people contributing here to say it is the same!

Not the same for us anyway. Meethinks she knows someone in a very high place!!!

I must say we got the towel animals and the rose petals and the Amex special turndown. But not something every night!!! I think we have about 4 or 5 cruises with them and we don't rate dinner with the Captain yet!! Oh well.... :(
