Above is the link to the webcam for tonight’s Ho Down. It is on now and will stay on but on one will start arriving until around 7.00pm. Mark Conroy will talk at approximately 8.00 pm Dallas time.

Please note:
This is on a Spanish website, you will not need to understand any Spanish to view the webcam.

If you do NOT have Adobe Flash installed on your computer you will need to install this program to view the web cam. The screen will ask you to install this program. Follow the directions on the download.

If an advertisement comes up on the screen just click the X on the upper right corner, and it should not come back again.

Hi Ngaire, I can see you running around your house getting everything ready. Looks lovely.

Is this just for viewing or can we chat with folks there if we have a webcam?

I'll try to post some pics here via the webcam so those that can't be online tonight can view them later.

Cool! I can hear Ngaire talking to someone about party arrangements.

Editing to say, I'm peaking in around 6 p.m. Ngaire's time. LCT voyagerism at it's best.

No not dressed yet with my sneakers on! I will look better I promise.

Pooch tournament was at 3.00 pm today at aloft not here. Too much to do here to take place in that fun activity.

The chat part was in spanish so that wont work but I can leave LCT up on my computer. We had the other one working well BUT hit problems with Explorer 8, firefox and other browsers. Plus we started to hear hestiation from tech support on how well it would work with multiple viewers. Too risky

So it was a "race against time" today to get this all sorted out. This company was receptive and speedy and came to the house - so a Spanish website it had to be. We finished at about 4.30 pm.

People can stand on those stairs and you will be able to hear them or wave and say hi as they arrive. The noise level may get quite high of course.

I do a drawing first then introduce Mark and we will begin speaking at about 8.00 pm.

Beth, do not think you can talk back and forth from web cam to web cam but honestly do not know.

Anyone in South America and Africa watching? Antarctica?

Ngaire, great camera and bandwidth; can see cars outside the window. It will be 3am here; for the Aussies, it will be breakfast with champagne and strawberries. ;)

Yes, Donna. Mickie at Rupeipei and I are good friends now. I went scouting Thursday and I'm going to buy today.

I sent Mona some pictures. If you're interested you can see them at:

The Pooch tournament has wrapped up and everyone is getting ready for the big party.

We had 20 players, 3 tables, 3 games each (9 total games played). In addition we had lots more observers and kibbutzers. There were 10 different people winning at least one game (one tie), so the competition was fierce!

Ray, our roving photographer, was on the job too.

Watch the webcam a bit prior to Ngaire's drawing and the MC intro for the grand prize results - we will recognize the players with the highest scores in all 9 games and the ones with the highest cumulative scores as well as the individual game winners.

See you on the webcam....

I'm finishing up my "twitter" port reports as I watch Ngaire's party. How appropriate is that? Better watch it, I might tweet about Dallas instead of Ko Samui smiles.

Isn't technology amazing? I just saw Ngaire talking on the phone in front of the staircase. It's now 11.30am (10.30am for you Frank and Wendy) Sunday here - any idea wha time it is over there? I can hear people talking - so things must start happening soon. Lee

It's all starting to happen! People are arriving - just wish I was among them.

Thanks Frank and Wendy for that hint! My son lives in New York and I'm forever getting the time wrong with our daylight saving or his!
