YEAH it is TIME
Business meeting with Mark in our offices tomorrow and then at 5.00 pm the FUN stuff starts.
PAPERWORK
The paperwork is finished and was delivered to Aloft at about 7.00 pm tonight. When we rolled in with a dolly with four large boxes of bags the receptionist immediately knew who we were she said "people were looking for you - they JUST left". Sorry we missed you, we came straight from the office it just took so long to get this last minute paperwork from Regent finished. We were not a pretty sight anyway.
OUR HOUSE IS READY
Full toilet rolls in all bathrooms (important thing)
Refrigerator and two bars are FULL of wine.
Chairs all over the house.
Food is organized.
OUR OFFICE IS READY
We cleaned our offices, there are desk tops under the piles - I never knew that! I could even see Susan at her computer. Ken's office is fungus free (for those that do not know that is what the girls call all Ken's computer parts as the piles keep growing and growing) Linda took a picture it is so tidy. We are taking bets on how long it will take to pile it up with fungus again.
Alcohol and food in place.
We have been in our offices for 15 years and OF COURSE this week the hot water heater broke!
DALLAS IS READY
The weather Gods listened to my pleas for no rain.
Buses promised to come on time.
Billy Bob's is prepared.
Arlene has warned aLoft .
Pooch pins ready for the Pooch Masters.
Shopping hints from Lisa in your welcome bags.
ONE OF MY JOBS - Official taste tester
I had no choice, I had to break my normal diet to taste all the sweet treats we were buying. SOMEONE had to do it.
ONE OF KEN'S JOB - THE WEBCAM
Last minute testing is necessary and Ken will post instructions and the address on Saturday morning.
THE EXCITEMENT BUILDS
Ken and I are so excited to see everyone and the girls were all a twitter today with all the people they are finally going to meet and excited to see those they have sailed with before.
We are very prepared and organized so we can really relax and enjoy this weekend.
LET THE HO_DOWN BEGIN.

I'm about to leave the hotel in Annapolis to head to Washington National. A bit concerned about the weather here, but if no delays, I arrive at DFW around 3:00. I'm taking my sister and niece to dinner tonight, then going back to DFW to get Alice, then checking into Aloft! wooo hooo!!!

At the Admiral's Club in Boston. Flight is currently on time. We are scheduled to arrive at DFW at 3PM if all goes well. Pick up the rent a car and navigate to Aloft. Can't wait to see everyone.

We are scheduled to depart Reagan National at 1:20 PM and arrive DFW at 3:51 PM. We're among the late arrivals today. (Originally scheduled somewhat earlier, but US Air changed the times.)

Dropped Luke at the "Ranch" this morning, Brad has polished his bolo tie for Billy Bob's and packed the pooch score sheets and a few select prizes for the tournament.
We're heading out for the airport in less than an hour. The fight from Dallas is coming in a bit late to Santa Fe but hopefully they will turn it around quickly.

Yep, Don & I arrived last night. Already had my bar-be-que fix. Many hugs from Arlene, Betty & Al, Susan & Russ last night greeting us. Today, more hugs with Andrea & Jerel, Anne & Gary, Joanna & Tony, Betty K & Larry, Dave from San Diego, & Olivia. We are throwing our duds on now, really to roll to Billy Bob's at 5. Yee-haw!

Tip: Bolo is answer in the American Airlines' crossword puzzle. The clue? New Mexico state tie. Brad, you are doing your adopted land proud!! Oh my .. the first of 'Buses by Bill' has arrived. Wait just a cotton picking minute .. the second of 'Buses by Bill' has also rolled in here. Could Billy Bob's be far behind? Just saw Russell (of ICE and the Big Lens Lad Band) walking outside our window. Liquor stores around here are experiencing an unusual sales increase. Doh! Have a great time everyone. We'll be having a drink in the Horizon Lounge and probably the Observation Lounge in your honor. We're having dinner with Beau, Polly, George and Meredith tonight so we can all make up for not being there. Terry and Mike from Birkenhead and the Discovery cruise (also Ngaire's clients) are also onboard and will be drinking with us tonight also. Hope you enjoy Billy Bob's --how could you not????
