I finally got some photos uploaded from our stops in Egypt. On the ship when I play this as a slideshow it is fuzzy at first but after a few seconds it becomes un-fuzzed. Hope this works for you too. You can adjust the speed in which they play as a slide show. Of course in the Alexandria pictures I had to take a picture of the women wearing their Burkha veils into the ocean. This just strikes me so funny and so un-beach like.

This Picasa website seems to work much better and quicker than ofoto. It's free from google and Marco of club.com (here onboard) thinks it's the best site to use for storing, editing, sharing etc. It's a free download if anyone is interested.

Captain Dag came on the speaker about 5 minutes ago and said he’s decided to make a surprise stop in Katakolon, Greece. He surprises us with these unplanned stops at his whim….he calls it “visiting one of his favorite watering holes”. We’ll be in Katakolon from 1-5:00 today. He reserved 3 restaurants where Regent is treating everyone to a Greek lunch.. This should be a fun stop as the weather is nice. This is not too far from Mt. Olympus so I know some will be going there. We’ll probably play it by ear what we do after our Greek lunch on shore.

Tonight is the big Murder Mystery birthday party. We have our costumes all ready! Tomorrow we're in Taormina, Sicily from 9-5:30 (not Messina as originally planned).

Fantastic Marcie!! I just told Marc "I am not going to live vicariously through Marcie, and Anne & Gary any more.... when are we going to Egypt?"

Please let us know about your lunch in Greece too. What a wonderful surprise! I can just imagine Capt. Dag up on the bridge thinking.... "Gee it is such a nice day out, lets stop in Greece and take everyone to lunch."

Can you imagine that happening on any ship other than Regent?

God willing, we'll be on the 2008 World Cruise and I must say the anticipation for it keeps building and building especially after reading reports from you and Larry. Penny and I are really getting antsy!

Don't know if you will see this in time, but Olympia closes at 3PM this time of year. Capt. Dag surprised us last year with this stop and we learned once ashore that we had to chose between the complimentary taverna experience or Olympia. (Last year only Gold/Platinum members were invited to the taverna!) We chose Olympia and it was just beautiful with flowers and flowering trees in bloom and we still had time to stroll and shop in Katakolon. Those who did the taverna enjoyed themselves as well. Tough choices on a surprise day! Enjoy!

I know they must love Capt. Dag in Katakolon at least as much as he loves them!

Great shots Marcie. Brings your reports to life! That beach area looks wonderful. We are REALLY going to miss your reports when you get home. It is so much fun to go to LCT in the mornings and catch up on your adventures, both in the written word and by pictures.
