Tom G is a "people person" but oh so kind to women and Mona allows him his sweetness - they are a great "team" -

Of course, I have to ask why Russ is taking a picture of Debbie's foot!! I also loved the picture of Tony in the laundry!

Russ takes pictures of Debbie's feet everywhere they go, like some people take pix of doors, cats, etc. Just a "theme" for them!

Great pictures Tom and as Joanna said, great memories! WOW that balcony in Nice is amazing.

Agree with Joanna, Tom and Mona re super people and we are fortunate enough to live in the same area and manage to get together for dinner every three/four months or so. They have become good friends, and getting to cruise with them is always fun.

As to Russ taking pictures of Debbie's foot, we didn't realize that until Rome, even though we had been together at a couple of ports, and it was hysterical and certainly provided much entertainment for our van!! Way to go Debbilee!! :app:

Tom, great pictures. You captured all the fun! I don't know which is my favorite but Tony's ironing photo is high on the list.

P.S., Debbie, your "foot" picture would go great on my blog :D !

Welcome home, all B2Bers. What a fabulous cruise! The itinerary can't be beat, and the same goes for a great group of people. Congrats Joanna and Mark, belated Happy Birthdays to Ngaire, Ken and the other lucky celebrants, kudos on spectacular photos to Ken and JoAnn. I'm coming to this thread after being away from LCT for a while, and I can't tell you what a joy and relaxing respite it is to sip a cup of coffee and read/view about this wonderful trip. Now, if only we had a cruise planned before June 2009 (Alaska) ... Oh well, there's always vicarious travel, which LCT is great at providing.

Hi Joanna & JoAnn---Lurking is a habit I will try and break.

It was a great trip; we loved meeting everybody. Now I'm reading about the 2010 plans. All the trips sound so interesting; it will be difficult to pick among them.

We are booked on the Reykjavik to Southampton cruise next year. Are either of you?

Hi everyone. Glad you liked the pictures. Mona and I have been back to work for two days now. What a change. No Mojitos or stingers at the end of the day. We miss everyone.

It was an amazing cruise. There really were no negatives. In our opinion the food, while very good before, has noticeably improved. Even the service was better than we remember. And dining room manager Martin Cliff provided exceptional service with a great sense of humor. But the best part of the cruise was the people.

Now we'll just have to get to work planning our next cruise. Tom.

We are finally home too...probably the last to arrive home, but we stayed one additional day to see Monaco. Our flight home was great... Marc got us on an earlier flight and we got home 4 hours earlier than we had planned. :D This was one of the easiest 11 hour flights I have ever made. I guess I was so tired after going full steam for so many days without a sea day, that I slept about 9 of the 11 hours. I am still suffering jet lag today though... my clock is definitly off!

I have decided that I really don't need a butler on a Regent cruise. (Not that I have ever had one!! :( ) What I REALLY need is a butler when I get home.... to unpack, do the innumerable loads of laundry (how do two people create that much laundry?? :lct:

Arlene---A butler when we get home, now I second that! If you find a way, let me know right away.

Also, a very belated Happy Birthday to you! Tom's pictures of the party were terrific.

Hello Everyone,

After being without a PC for a number of days and finaly getting hooked up with LTC, I hope I can get this posted.

It was wonderful to meet you all on BtoB we had such a great time and the people made it !!! We learned a new game POOCH - - thanks to Niagre. I had wanted to share some photos, but with all the great ones that Ken and Tom took, mine would just be a duplicate and not as good. Looking forward to our next cruise and seeing you all again. Best wishes - you all are the best. Rod

You can use Windows Explorer to drag and drop photos to a DVD but there are also some slideshow programs that probably are on your hard drive as well. What kind of computer do you have and how computer literate are you?

Rod, Vista comes with a picture program that will help you from downloading them from your camera to putting them on a cd or making movies.

You can learn about it here Make sure you click on the "print and share your photo's" link as that tells you how to put them onto a cd.

Rod - Both of our computers are HP with Vista. Have a look at Windows Photo Gallery. It has slideshow and burn functions. Further, Windows Movie Maker allows you to build a slideshow and burn it to disc. Your digital camera software may also have such a slideshow program. We've loaded both Nikon and Canon programs for slideshows. Finally, your HP computer may have come with a Roxio slideshow program. We've had very bad luck with Roxio programs, which have always produced DVD's that will play on one of our DVD players and not the other (and it's not even consistent which works and which does not!!).

If those don't seem to give you what you want, you might want to look at an easy and inexpensive slideshow program like ProShow Gold by Photodex. It is not difficult to understand (even for non-geeks like me) and allows a lot more flexibility than Movie Maker and Photo Gallery.

Have fun. Cheers, Fred

Wow, great photos Tom!! You really capture the spirit of the trip.

So many faces from MUSH, I wish I had been there, but then I would have had to give up our PG trip which was wonderful. Ah well, another time!

Hi All,

You will never believe what my problem was with the DVD - - It was discovered that I had a defective DVD which would not let me play it on the player. After replaceing the disc it down loaded fine. Hope all is wonderful where you are. We wish we were back at sea.

Ngaire and Ken, have a great time on the Grand Black Sea cruise. Wish we were there!!!
