All our bags are packed, we're NOT ready to go (my version of the song!) We did well and are bringing home 11 full bags, we're among the light weights on the ship! We toyed with leaving some things here onboard for FJORDS but decided not to since the serious weight restriction for us is travelling to Rome (post cruise) from Copenhagen not getting to Copenhagen.

We've spent the afternoon saying good bye to friends and the staff. Some of the bar staff will remain onboard and I've told them about the TAPers getting on tomorrow. They're excited to meet you all. Of course when Suzanne's name was mentioned several "lit up" saying things like "Oh I remember Ms. Suzanne" :banana:

The Captain's Farewell party last night was just wonderful....a real walk down Memory Lane. This morning we had the huge "White Elephant Auction". This too was a huge success with lots of unique items going for big bucks. Jamie had purchased quite a few things in Valencia relating to the America's Cup Race and those brought in top dollar. 100% of the $ goes directly to the crew fund so the generosity pours out for all the crew has done to help make the past 4 months so special for us. I bid (and won) a nice photograph of the entire crew standing on the deck with autographs by Capt. Dag and other officers. We'll frame it and it will always be a special reminder of our days here on the WC.

Anyway, Ciao,Au revoir,Auf Wiedersehen etc. we're off the ship soon! :mecry: It's been a WONDERFUL experience that we'll always treasure!

I can't believe it was two years ago we did the Welcome Home Marcie and Tom Party in Long Beach from the 1st World Cruise!

So once again, Welcome Home, Marcie and Tom! Thank you for letting us cruise with your vicariously this last 4 months.

Have loved every moment traveling with you on the WC!!! Fjords is getting closer and closer - you have 50 days to rest up before leaving CA June 19th!!!!!

I've enjoyed your fabulous travels and pix, Marcie. Welcoming you home to the O.C.

Don't fret - June 19 is just around the corner.

Oh Marcie, can't thank you enough for taking us along your fabulous journey! Very selfishly, I'm so sorry it's over as I've learned/enjoyed so much! Between yours and Larry's and others, I really feel as though I've been with you.
