....A passenger on the World Cruise (Karl Schubert) caught this 694 lb. Marlin in Bay of Islands, NZ. on a deep sea fishing trip. That fish is huge! I can't even begin to think about how a person could "reel in" a fish that big! :eek:

That is something else. I can't even imagine doing it but would love to try. I think it is great that they support the guests and take the fish. How exciting.

When I've seen fishing excursions on cruises, I've always wondered what happens if someone gets a fish--whether the kitchen cleans and prepares it for the fisher or it gets thrown back. I guess now we know. Except in this case, prepares it for the whole ship for several days, I would imagine.
