We are in the Bahamas today. It is a beautiful day.

They are in the process of changing the satellite on the ship so they are saying that it may be down for a couple of days.

The Voyager in great shape. The crew wonderful.
I think someone said, my favorite RSSC ship is the one I'm on, at the time. That is just the way I feel!

Hi, Betty- Glad you are having a terrific time! Mark and I will be waving to you and Larry as we board Voyager on Monday! Hopefully the great weather will hang around for our sailing -- Any pointers for this trip? Our itinerary is the same, just a week later. cheer Mia

Today was a rough day at sea...very windy and rainy. Too bad, because today was the barbeque on the deck. So Betty spent her day lounging about watching movies and hanging out in the spa. O.K.!!!!!!!!

Mia, so sorry that we missed you and Mark by one week. I too, hope that the sun shines on your cruise.

We had dinner in Signatures tonight. What can I say......wonderful. We asked to be put on the waiting list for another night.

Gotta go... try to recoup some of my lost money in the casino and then to the Kenny Smiles show.

A day in the spa is a pretty good substitute for the on-deck barbecue. Glad you are having a good time, Betty. Have they made the changes to the internet yet?

Hi, Betty & Larry - Sorry your first day at sea was bumpy and that the BBQ got rained on. (On our first Mariner trip grilled lobster was served at the BBQ -- yummy!) I wish the four of us were dining together at Signatures; was that scrumptious chocolate souffle still offered? Since next week is the "chocolate" spotlight cruise, I'm hoping they will follow the chocolate theme with their desserts! ;) It's supposed to be a bit colder here at home today and tommorrow, so hopefully San Juan will be sunny and warm for your visit. Have fun! cheer Mia & Mark

Donna,

You are right about that day in the spa....it works for me!!!!

They did do the BBQ, even in the rain, and yes, they did lobster. We just took it inside!

They have not completed the switch to the new wireless system, but they are working at it all the time.

Mia, we will try very hard to save you a chocolate souffle....no promises, but we will try. ;)

The new system is in place for the computors on the Voyager. The price for a time plan is .20 cents a minute 250 mins, for $50.00 or .25, or 100 minutes for $25.00, or pay as you go .35 cents per minute.

I can't really tell, if the system is any faster!

Today is our last day! cheer

Glad you are having a good time, Betty. Sorry it's ending for you. With those new internet rates, it needs to go really fast!! Oh well, those of us who need internet while onboard don't have any choice. Thanks for the update.

On 007 I overheard Marco explaining that they also had a flat rate of $15. per day for those with laptops. Wonder if they still have that? Maybe you can choose one or two days out of the week to do all your internet stuff?

Thanks for the seamail Betty! I'm glad you and Larry have had such a fun week!

Marcie, that's a good idea. I'm taking my laptop in January. I'll talk to Marco about that.

That's way different than what we paid on the 2005 World Cruise. A good comparison from that trip is 300 minutes for $25.00 - $.08 per minute. And that was not the cheapest rate.

I suppose it's called "progress".

I am pretty sure we paid 25.00 for 100 minutes last year on Navigator. The good part was that you could carry your minutes forward to your next cruise (or as some of us here did, we passed them on to our friends for Sea Mail!)

Peggy, my guess is that they do different rates for looooooong cruises. I hope that's the case for WC and our SA trip too!

Marcie, I hope I am wrong and I hate to be a pessimist, but I don't think Radisson will change the internet rates for the WC or the SA one. If we are lucky, maybe it will be one of the benefits on the tier program for their loyal passengers if we ever get a tier program. Promises, promises.

I hope you're right Marcie but there is a big difference between $.25 and $.04.

My guess is we'll be able to buy more minutes which will drop the rates some but probably not anywhere near where it was last year. I'm sure we'll be told how much faster the new system is. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I agree with Sealover - it would be a good benefit for the tier program - and I also agree - if we ever get the program.

Peggy
