Woo hoo! I just changed my flight out of L.A. to 10am, landing at 11:10am on the 6th. My car will be parked at Oakland airport so if anyone is arriving around the same time, I can give you a ride over to SF.

Yank Sing gets really busy after 11:30 on weekends - perhaps 11:30 might be better?
As for hotels. Park Hyatt is now a Le Meridien (so that's another option for you Starwood fans). I found the property to be better as a Park Hyatt though (I even got matched to Starwood Platinum from Hyatt Diamond just for this property).
As for the Grand Hyatt on Union Square, you can try booking it at a stay certificate rate, using code HSPRN1, and if available, the rate is $165 including tax. Post or e-mail me for specific directions - this type of stay certificate is also available for most Hyatts (all in the US). That said, the Grand Hyatt Union Square is an ok property but not my favorite.
I'm looking for a new "home" in San Francisco. I do want to try out the new St Regis, rates around $270 using the SPG50 certificates (either through the Starwood AMEX or redeemed using 1000 Starwood points).
We (at least I) will think about coming to this :) I do have hotel reserved (actually for every weekend through Aug) since Le Meridien was running a special through Travelzoo for a rate of $165 incluing a $30 food credit.
