On Regent's Voyager, we note that Class H cabins are cheapest. The cabins become increasingly more expensive as you progress from Class G to Class D. What is the actual difference in the class cabins as I note the cabins and balconies are the same sizes for all these classes? What is the advantage of a Class D cabin over a Class H cabin? I understand the advantage of the Class C Horizon cabins but not the other designations.

Max, they sell out from the bottom to the top in regular cabins, except that if you want to be more mid ship, you should choose G on Voyager. The H cabins on that ship are aft, and more suseptible to movement.

Horizon cabins "c" have lovely, large balconies. The suites are the same size as the "h" through "d" category. If possible, book 877 or 878 if this appeals to you. Some folks have experienced vibration that is bothersome to them in these cabins; others have loved them. It depends, to some extent, on the seas and the speed.

Welcome to the board!

Cheers, Anne

Thanks, Anne, Karen, Joanna, and JHP. We are really looking forward to our newest experience on the Voyager. We've always has category H before, but have opted to upgrade to a higher level this time. I'll let you know if we sense a difference.

Max, I don't think you will notice a difference, except that the higher you go in price, the higher you are on the ship, and perhaps that is a preference to you. Since I am seasick-prone, I like low and middle, thus the G level mid-ship. Plus, I don't have to get on elevator to get to dinner and other public areas except for the pool. Let us know what you think!

We agree with Joanna and Olivia - the mid-section "G" cabins are our favorite cabins on Voyager.

Enjoy your trip!

Cheers, Anne
