Here is Norwegian Line's new ship Epic sailing out of New York Harbor today. The sheer size of this ship just scares me....stick with Regent I think! Apparently it is the largest ever passenger ship that has come into NY Harbor. ![[Linked Image]](http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a354/mjohnson555/Miscellaneous/DSC_3296_edited-1.jpg) I think they took a New York skyscraper and launched it into the Hudson River posted by Michael borrowing Lee's ID

Very scary, Michael!!!! I usually count tenders (then of course double that number). If the number is over 3 per side... I say, No Thanks.

Love it or hate it you have to be impressed with it. What goes into building a ship of this size and the amenities. This ship not even close to RCCL Oasis of the seas at 220,000 tons.. People thought the original "Love Boat" Pacific Princess was huge when it came out at 12,000 tons Things have come along way..

I'm with Beth, no thanks! But yes, impressive feat to build such a large vessel. I just don't need to be on it! Hey, no aft balcony cabins?

It is not a ship.... It is a floating Resort. If I want a Resort, I will choose a land based set up, that I can escape from, if it ends up wall to wall people in the pool.

Cool photos, Michael! Thanks for posting them.
A friend of mine from work is on the RCCL Oasis of the Seas this week. He's never been on a cruise before. They picked an inside cabin so they would have interesting viewing from their "balcony" into "Central Park". I'm not sure he'll even know he's on a ship.

Thanks for the photos Michael - so that was what you were describing last Sunday! I agree, we'll be staying with Regent - I would get completely lost on that ship! Mum
