We just posted a few. The picture of the ladies in the garden related to the post I made about them inviting us into their garden in Petropavlovsk and picking us produce.

I also posted the beauty of sailing into Petropavlovsk, Siberia.

I guess I really liked Petropavlovsk a lot although many did not feel that way.

The story about the man who attacked Ron in Hakodate, Japan. I have the picture that Ron took of him that caused such a fuss. Still cant figure out why he was so upset.

Just a few other shots.

I'm still stumped by the guy in Hakodate. Who knows ... maybe just unstable? Pictures were great!

I really loved pic number 6. Where can I read about the attack. I must have missed this thread?

It was in the other thread - but to quote from it:

"We had a "scary adventure" in Hokadate, Japan. Ron (Lindas husband) is always tacking pictures and this wild Japanese man saw him taking a picture of his store and starting yelling in Japanese. Then he grabbed a big rusty saw and started towards Ron with this menacing weapon. We were all in a little bit of shock. He pushed Ron with the flat blade of the saw and we just walked on by as fast as we could. An adventure we wont soon forget. We figured he had not talked to the local chamber of commerce about making tourists feel welcome. We have no idea why he was so upset.
Made me think of Oliva's wild monkey story from her Asian trip. He looked like a wild monkey!!!"

Thanks!!! This was a less welcoming gesture than Denise/Alan's and Doug and my "Christina the tour guide" story in Venice, when she started yelling at Alan I AM NOT ROBERTA. My favorite experience was in Como was when I asked the lady in the tourist bureau for a map or if she could tell me what to do in the vicinity and she said. No, she couldn't help me and went back to her phone call.

It's "events" such as these that make travel so colorful!

Now..let's see what trouble we can get into on DOF! Alan says he is not speaking to any of our guides! :D
