Since I have been rather caught up on some current movie making projects, decided to go back and "remaster" some tape of cruises from the past. The primary reason for doing this is to make them accessible on our cell-phones, I-Pad, AppleTV, computers, Smugmug and with you. Since I put most of the movies on Smugmug, I have to limit each movie to 10 mins. or less and one gig. Any larger movie goes on my Apple MobilMe account. To show you how far I go in making movies available, I have my entire Smugmug account downloaded to my I-Phone that encompasses almost 19,000 photos and videos and it takes up less than 6 gigs on my I-Phone4 and I don't have to have WiFI available to show either the photos or videos. . All of the photos are organized the same as on my Smugmug account. I even have 4 hrs. of ROAR I video on my cellphone. When on TUT last month, a couple sat next to us in Compass Rose that we recognized from the 2008 World Cruise but never got to know and we reminisced a bit and I recalled a memorable photo that I took of them in Singapore. Penny popped out her cell phone and promptly showed them the photo. They got quite a kick out of it.
