Penny found a number of MINT photos so I downloaded them here in case any of you want to go down "Memory Lane" http://ray-penny.smugmug.com/Vacation/LCT-MINT-Cruise There are some duplicates but I've been on this computer too long today and I'm calling it quits. Cheers! Ray

Thanks Ray! :app: That was fun to look back at the pictures. "MINT" was the cruise from hell and yet we made it such a wonderful cruise that has fond memories for everyone. :D

Although I downloaded photos yesterday I just looked at the new ones today. We do look so young but then when you're happy and laughing, a mellowing glow appears.
Marcie: I too noticed a number of people I haven't seen in person since and unfortunately noticed several that have passed on.
Jim: I know we missed one port that we really wanted to see but for the life of me, I don't remember what else went wrong on that cruise. Like you say, there were fond memories for everyone.
Cheers! Ray

we did miss a port but think we were given $1,000 for inconvenience a good deal - port was no big deal as I recall - a great trip - and we upgraded to a sweet suite for little money -

I remember missing Cabo San Lucas port, no big deal to us. I don't remember anything else negative ?? Guess we were having too much fun to care. We all got nice FCC though for missed port. Editing: I think Jim was talking about the trip home for he and Jan...lots of problems with airports, flights etc.

This was the cruise where the Mariner was having a problem with one of there pods and could only go about 1/2 to 3/4 of the speed they normally go. They knew about it before anyone got on board, but did not inform any passengers until we were all on board. Then they announced the stops at some port would be reduced and we would miss Cabo completely. For our troubles they instantly gave us something like $250 per person on board credit and then when we got home received a $500 per person refund, AND a better than normal discount on booking another cruise or if we had booked another cruise while on board that discount would be put towards it. This was when Regent still charged for drinks and excursions and I think our bill was less than $100!! AND we had booked another cruise so were very Happy!
"FUN" on the Navigator was our return home trip from hell with Jan sick, canceled flights, and closed highways because of blizzards, oh and a broken windshield on our new vehicle.
